Helloooooo, ears!! Skipper is a sweet, cuddly, playful lab mix puppy. Although she had a rough start to her current life, dropped off in a cardboard box, this “queen of direct eye contact” quickly gazed her way into her foster’s heart. She is spunky but loves a good neck nuzzle! Expected to be 30 to 45 pounds full-grown, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and ready for her forever home!
The Butterfly litter is eating 3 times a day, and just starting on their potty training! A general rule of thumb is that a puppy can “hold it” for a maximum of one hour per month of age, plus one. 9 weeks – about 3 hours. Adopters should expect that this litter will need to go potty every 1.5-2 hours throughout the day with a longer stretch at night, but should expect to be up at least one a night for bathroom needs!
Due to the high level of care and attention a very young puppy needs, their foster will be looking for a home where someone is there most of the time, and the puppy will not be left alone for more than 3 hours at a time.
