A note from Mable's foster:
"I wish people can interact with Mable the way I get to on a daily basis. Mable is super friendly with other dogs, she will give kisses during introductions and wants to play right away. She continues to be stranger danger with new people but she is not trembling like she did during her early days in the rescue. In her safe place, Mable loves to snuggle, shakes my hand, wants to be on my lap while I am working. She will come running when she hears plastic bag sounds and will sit promptly as she waits for a treat. She now loves going for car rides and is better in familiar places. Outside noises will likely be a long term concern, Mable did well walking on a trail on a Saturday morning while kids' soccer games took place nearby, but a car horn suddenly going off made her jumpy. Mable needs another dog to learn from and lean on for support as she is most comfortable among her friends. Mable is one of the sweetest dog ever, she is smart, comes when called, will drop sticks if you tell her no."
