Paisley is a bad a$$ little dog! She was a stray for SIX MONTHS until finally hungry enough or startled enough to let someone scoop her up. She came to us with hair so badly matted we couldn't tell if she was a male or female but once we shaved her down, and we mean sheared her like a lamb because it was SO BAD, we saw she is a little girl! Paisley is SWEET and wants to trust but is very skittish too. If she is down on the ground and you bend over to pick her up, she scoots away, but the second you sit down she wants to be on your lap. She hasn't shown any aggression AT ALL, but we worry with her around small kids as they may not know how not to startle her, and we don't want her to be scared. She is GREAT with other dogs and is very playful, she would probably even benefit from being in a home with another confident dog to teach her the ropes and play with her! She is crate trained and hasn't had a single accident when in one, but she has had accidents in the house. She wants to make you happy and really does look to you for safety and assurance, so potty training her shouldn't take too long, just patience and routine. She is ADORABLE and LOVES to snuggle, even if she's feeling insecure, she still puts her little paw on your lap and looks at you like "is this okay?". Ideally Paisley would go to a home with a privacy type fence that she can't run through, since she's so small, or someone that will walk her regularly, she is a TINY little girl but has a big, fun personality and this will all just help to bring out her confidence and happiness!
