Opal

Opal is a sweet and snuggly little mixed breed baby, wonderful with kids of all ages and fantastic with other dogs of all sizes! In fact she would love another canine “sibling” (but would also do well being the sole receiver of attention and love in her new home). She is making good progress on potty training - is still switching back-and-forth between the outdoors and puppy pads as she learns but no more accidents on bare floors! A general rule of thumb is it a puppy can hold it for one hour per month of age, plus one. Eight weeks equals about three hours maximum. Adopters should expect that she will need to go potty at least 2 every hours throughout the day with a longer stretch at night, but should be expect to be up at least once a night for bathroom needs. Due to the high level of care and attention a newborn puppy needs, her foster will be looking for a home where someone is there most of the time.
