Hello Releash fans,
It's me, Tucker. I'm updating my bio to match my progress.
You probably remember I came from a hoarding situation with Sparky and Sable. I’m about 3 years old and a bichon/min pin/poodle blend. I’d never really had human contact before Releash Atlanta rescued my friends and me - - definitely never knew kindness. I’ve been in my foster home for a few months now, and I’m learning to trust, but its hard for me! It just seems too good to be true. My first reaction to humans is fear. I don’t think I’ll ever be a cuddly lap dog, but I can tolerate a little bit of touching now. I see the other dogs getting love, and it looks so nice but I’m just too afraid to have much- at least for now.

I have some big news!
1. Peach on a Leash Online Dog Training has been helping me. I've had several training sessions and we've learned that I LOVE to work and I'm a great student. I've mastered "sit" and "down" and I'm moving on to new things.
2. I LOVE to walk. Who knew?! It's pretty stressful getting the leash on, but once I'm hooked up I'm ready to go. You'd never know I'm anxious if you met me on the street (as long as I'm with my dog friend - no way I'm going out alone - at least not yet). I'm walking at least twice a day now and feeling more confident all the time. I'm so proud of myself! You should see my wag. My foster family can't say enough about how proud they are of all my hard work.

I really need to have 1 canine sibling who is confident and will be my friend. I get along with other dogs but can get overwhelmed with a crowd. I’m fine with cats, and please NO kids. I can't handle sudden movements or loud noises. Calm and quiet works for me. I would prefer a very calm, patient person who will love me, give me space, and continue to help me build my confidence. I can take treats from my foster mom and sister's hands now, and I think I have tons of improvement ahead of me.

I know my name and I’m almost perfectly potty trained. I’m never mean, just fearful. My training and walks are giving me the confidence I need. Will you commit to keep it up? Do you have the patience to love me? I’m working hard and I'm totally worth it!

My bark is loud, but there’s no bite. Are you the one for me?
