REQUIREMENTS
- Her ideal home will have a fenced yard - her athletic energy comes in bursts.
- She needs another friendly, playful dog as she adores her canine pals!
- She loves her foster’s kids but may be a little boisterous for children under 6.
Chopstick is an AWESOME dog! She is a gorgeous snuggle bunny Australian cattle hound/Australian Shepherd/boxer/other mix.
Chopstick was surrendered by her owner with six puppies; she was a doting hands-on mom but is now ready for her new life! She is shy with new people - I think a couple of abrupt environmental changes while caring for newborn puppies will do that to you! - but once she warms up her exuberant personality comes out. Is that a toy? Yay toy! Are we going to cuddle on the couch? Yay cuddles! Is that another dog? Yay another dog! What do you mean I should not just lick the other dog’s face, doesn’t everyone want to lick faces?
She is a playful goofball who knows and is responsive to commands but may need a little work on impulse control. She will happily sit but it’s sooooo haaaard to keep that wiggly tush on the ground when there is a treat!
She is a play hard/cuddle often kind of dog and would prefer to be with her human.
