Winn Dixie is a total party girl with a heart of gold and zoomies for days! This goofy, high-energy gal lives for playtime and will happily entertain you with her silly antics and lightning-fast sprints around the yard. If you’re looking for a dog that brings the fun, she’s your girl!
She’s done wonderfully with every dog we’ve introduced her to, which has mostly been younger dogs and puppies. Winn Dixie loves to play, but if another pup gets too pushy, she will give “mom dog like” corrections.
Winn Dixie is fully vetted and has completed obedience training. She’s very food-motivated, eager to learn, and loves having a job to do. She’s a crate trained girl, enjoys fetching balls and toys, and would be an awesome candidate for dog sports like Fast CAT, lure coursing, or agility with the right person!
A few things to know: Winn Dixie does have a prey drive and will try to chase cats and very small dogs, so a cat-free home is best. She can also be protective of toys around other dogs, so structured play and toy management are important when she has canine friends nearby.
