Scarlett can be slow to warm up to new people, but when she does, you will be one lucky human! She dances when she's excited, bounces like a bunny when she's playing, and loves to cuddle up and share doggie kisses. She takes her cues from other dogs when she doesn't know what to do, so if you already have a confident dog in the house, she will warm up to you even faster! Medium sized, low energy, thick fur, kid/dog/cat friendly, housetrained, and good on a leash. Check her out and see if she's the one for you!

Hello everyone! I'm Scarlett! When I first arrived in my foster home I was like 'WHERE AM I?! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!? WHAT IS GOING ON!?!' But after getting a chance to settle in, I've really opened up! I can still be a little shy at first, old habits die hard, but once I've decided you're safe and nice, you will be treated to excited dancing and lots of doggy kisses! I open up the most when I have a confident doggy friend who can show me the ropes and point out which humans are the most likely to give me extra snacks . I also enjoy cats (A LOT) and calm kids. I'm a pretty laid back, low energy kinda gal. I weigh about 40 lbs, and have soft thick fur with chocolate chip sprinkles on top! I don't really know what kind of breed I am, but I'm potty trained and walk great on a leash. That's the important stuff, right!? I have a permanent smile that is TO DIE FOR!!! Even when I'm scared or nervous, I will still be hitting you with my 1,000 watt grin. I truly live by the motto 'You're never fully dressed without a smile!' I'm great with kids, cats, dogs, turtles, snakes, squirrels... You get the idea.
