Truffles is pretty awesome! She’s quiet, loves attention, LOVES walks, loves to snuggle, and has fun, playful energy! 

She came to us from a shelter as a rescue only because she was growling and snapping at shelter workers but she has shown 0 signs of any aggression whatsoever in her foster home. 

Slow intros are smart with her but she’s been a real doll! She likes to sit on your lap and ask for pets, she really does WONDERFUL on walks and walks a mile a day now (though she can easily do more!).

Because of her history, small children are not ideal Incase she ever does display those fearful traits she showed at the shelter (but we haven’t seen). She just needs a consistent home that can show her she is safe, and she will really blossom! She WILL be rude the first few hours you meet her but all she wants to do is love you, she promises! 

She has been totally fine around other dogs and has tried to play with them, but is independent and would be totally okay as an only dog too. 

We believe she wants to be potty pad trained so when left alone in a room, she is not destructive and goes to the bathroom on her pads as often as she can, but she’s not perfect 😭 She is learning to be potty trained outside but we think we are probably the first to teach her. With a smart dog like her though, the transition shouldn’t be hard.
