Sadie has been RELEASHED by Kimberly!!! Sadie originally came from a very rural and underfunded county kill shelter. Releash Atlanta rescued Sadie from the shelter on October 28, 2019 after she’d been there for four weeks (she originally came into the shelter as a stray). We took her straight to the vet where it was determined that she had hookworms, whipworms, heartworms, and coccidia, so she needed a lot of TLC. Sadie was in foster care for eight weeks before she was adopted and during that time she underwent grueling heartworm treatment. Kimberly is the PERFECT adopter for her, and we couldn’t be happier with the match! Kimberly even cancelled a two-month long trip to Australia & New Zealand that she had planned for the beginning of 2020 just to rescue Sadie. Her exact words were: “I can live without the trip but I can’t live without having a dog in my life. Losing my mom, dad and both dogs in the last 16 months is killing me. Pups will heal me, I know this. Thanks for letting me be Sadie’s human. I promise you I will give her the most amazing life ever and will love her forever.” ❤️❤️❤️
