Requirements:
- Person/family willing to work with a timid dog
- Someone home at least part of the day with him/able to take him to work
- No big dogs
- No children under 10
This little lovebug is looking for a lap to call his own! Archie was surrendered from a hoarding situation where it doesn’t seem like he got as much human attention as he deserves. Now he just wants to be where his person is. His foster mom says he is the sweetest dog she has ever fostered and an absolute pro cuddler.
Archie knows sit, is almost fully housetrained, and rarely barks. However, Archie is also very timid and will need someone who is willing to be patient with him as he learns about the world. He needs slow introduction to new people and situations. He is only about a year old, so once he gains some confidence we expect him to be an active little guy. Right now though, he just wants to follow his human around and if at all possible, sleep on their lap.
He is friendly towards other small dogs, but big dogs and small children might be a little too much for him.
