Hi! I’m Sutton! Please take a moment to read about me because I’m not just a pretty face 😉😉 the humans I now reside with do not know about my past, but they say it must not have been good.

I was considered a “rescue only” gal in the clink because I liked to give the shelter workers a run for their money. They didn’t know that deep down I just really wanted to sit on their laps and have them love me. Love isn’t something I had a lot of, so I’m still learning. And trust, well, that’s all new to me too.

So, the ideal forever home for me is one where I will have a patient human that knows it will take me some time to warm up to any visitors they may have. Because of that, I shouldn’t go to a home with kids, because they’ve got friends for days, amiright?! Also, I LOVE dogs, but I’m a little defensive if they growl at me. After doing hard time, you come out a little jumpy so only well balanced dogs are what I need, and the bigger the better! I am a good girl, I just need someone to take time with me and I’ll almost immediately fall in love, but I may be choosey about how fast I become friends with anyone outside of my home.

If you’re my person, I’ll shower you with unconditional love and your lap will NEVER be cold! I’ll also be a good girl in my crate and not potty in your house. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Who’s in?!
