Miss Major

She is dog-friendly and kid-friendly; although she has not been tested with kids under 10 yet, she is not overly nippy so respectful young ones should be fine!

She can go to her forever home after she recovers from her spay, which will be done in mid July. At that point she will be eating 3 times a day, and will not be potty trained! A general rule of thumb is that a puppy can “hold it” for one hour per month of age, plus one. 9 weeks – about 3 hours. Adopters should expect that this litter will need to go potty every 2-3 hours throughout the day with a longer stretch at night, but should expect to be up at least one a night for bathroom needs!

Due to the high level of care and attention a newborn puppy needs, their foster will be looking for a home where someone is there most of the time, and the puppy will not be left alone for more than 3 hours at a time.

Fun facts about Miss Major…

1. She likes to be cuddled and held before she goes to sleep. Picked up, one paw on either side of your neck, head on your chest.
2. She absolutely adores other dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes!
3. She is an adventurer! The first of the litter to explore any new activity or territory.
4. She will splash and play in water.

Although owner described them as Aussie mixes, mom was a lab mix and Miss Major is looking labby to us! Estimated adult weight 40 to 50 pounds. She has been socialized with kids of all ages as well as other dogs and would love an active household
