Chin

A little over a year ago, I came to Releash as an owner surrender.  I had lost my fur and my skin was hot pink and flaky..... I was a mess.  The vet said it was a skin infection that wasn't treated and got out of of control.  With some TLC and a good dose of meds, I recovered like a champ!  I was ready to find my forever home.

During this time, my foster mom noticed that I started having some 'indoor tinkle issues' so we headed back to visit the nice people in white coats.  Well wouldn't you know it, the ultrasound showed an enlarged prostate.  My foster mom invited me to stay for as long as I needed so we could monitor the situation.  After a recent check up, the vet shared that they didn't see any growth since the last check up and that if I wanted, I could continue with my forever home search.

Since I'm in my senior years, a quiet space is best for me.  I love to go on walks and I love to eat.  I'm a good sleeper and I also love a good squeaky toy.  I'm okay with just about everything my mom has witnessed - cats, dogs and people, car rides, baths and grooming.

To help my foster mom, I wear a belly band in the house.  I think my prostate sometimes gets in the way and I can't fully empty my bladder.  But that's all.  No daily medicine, no special food or diet, nothing is off limits or an extra challenge.

If you're looking for a companion who won't be much of a bother, submit an application and we'll talk!
