Hello Releash Atlanta friends, my name is Triscuit or “T” as my foster family calls me, and I am positive that my good luck is going to carry on into 2023. You see, I was lucky when in 2022, a Releash Atlanta volunteer spotted me on the way to…how do you say it, be put to sleep. I was in a horrible situation in Heard County (you may have read about it), but that lady was my guardian angel and the start of good luck for me!
Since then, I have come out of my shell (you try living in a place like “Hell” and see if you don’t come out a little bit shy)! I love to play with the other dogs in my foster home (my buddy is a 3-legged chihuahua, so you know I am gentle), but I also love to play with the dogs my size and run in the fenced-in yard! I am crate-trained, house-broken, and get this - just say “leash” and I am at the door! Say “sit” and I know that one too, and say “cookie”, and I just love you!
I’ve been going to school at Integrated K9 Solutions
where I am told I need to “face my fears”. And you know what? They are right (except for kids under 7…those little buggers scare me)! So someone who will be patient with me as I get used to them would be great - I promise I’ll be your velcro-dog!
So there you have it. My foster mom can’t believe a lucky family hasn’t scooped me up yet, but I know that good things come to those who wait - it happened to me at Heard County, and I know my family is out there looking for me in 2023. Let’s have a great year together, what do you say?!
