Wombat

Requirements:

Kids over 5 yrs old

No cats

 

Meet Wombat, the greatest marsupial in all of North America (but don’t tell the opossums we said that)! She is a 9 month old bundle of joy!

 

Despite her original family moving and abandoning her in the yard, she loves people and is always so excited to see you. Always. Every single time. Not just when you leave the house and come home again but even when you leave the room and return. So. Much. Joy. I mean, look at those little wombat ears! Even they can’t hold up the weight of all the joy!

 

Although she is super sweet and generally great with other dogs, she tends to get possessive and guard resources she views as high value, likely driven by her experience having to fend for herself. Because of this, she needs to be an only dog. Because she is still a puppy, and at 25lbs capable of knocking a small child down with her excitement, she would do best in a household with kids over 5, or very dog savvy kids.
