Hiya! I'm Liesl (Lee-sul) and I'm looking for my forever family! I'm a real snuggle bug, but I love romping around outdoors, too! I also really, really love my furry foster brothers, especially the one that is close to my age and loves to run around and wrestle with me! I'm seven whole months old now, and I do well with pottying outdoors, as long as I'm on a schedule. I also do very well in a crate when my foster family isn't home.
I do like to talk and tell alllll the news in the neighborhood to anyone who'll listen, so Foster Mommy says probably an apartment or townhome is not the best place for me.
I haven't met any littles yet, but I think the big ones would be okay. And kitties? Well, I've seen em, but I haven't ever touched one. They smell funny.
I am what those in the know call a MInuature Schauzer! I look so cute with my little beard and eyebrows! And I love to look lovingly at my people with my liquid, soulful eyes!
I'm waiting for you!
Liesl is a seven-month-old Miniature Schnauzer that came to Releash with a raging case of Parvo! She pulled through like a trooper and her merry little personality didn't even skip a beat! She is pretty typical for a Schnauzer personality-wise, and loves to run and play. She also loves to bark, so apartments and townhomes will not be a good fit for her. She loves her foster's fenced back yard, and happily explores on her own or with her furry foster brothers.
She loves other dogs! A dog with her energy level would make her very happy. Size isn't an issue. She weighs around ten pounds now, and her best friend is a fifty pound doodle!
Liesl will need grooming regularly for the rest of her life. She does well at the groomer.
Liesl is doing well with her leash training and would love to walk with her family.
While she is energetic and feisty, Liesl is also very snuggly and loving. She will spend a long time napping on her person's lap, or behind their head on their favorite chair.
