Mia
Mia is looking for her furever Valentine, might that be YOU? This little miracle found herself at one of the most crowded shelters in Atlanta when she came down with Parvo just before Christmas. Releash offered to get her medical attention and she proved what a fighter she is by beating it. But if that wasn’t enough, she developed an upper respiratory infection and was back in isolation at the Vet until she beat that too. Mia is a fighter!
This 3 month old, 9 pound mix of cuteness has been in a home with dogs of all ages and sizes and is everyone’s friend. She has the softest fur we have ever felt and loves nothing more than cuddling with her people, other pups, or chasing after tennis balls (and bringing them back)! While she lives with teens and loves the attention, because she still has all her puppy teeth, a home with children over the age of 5 would be best for Mia.
Mia is crate-trained and enjoys running in her fenced-in yard with the other pups in her foster home. She is making very good progress on being housebroken but she is still a puppy, so needs someone home to let her out every hour. Mia currently sleeps in a crate but will easily transition to being able to sleep in a dog bed with her friends. Having another confident dog Mia’s size is a plus - probably on the small to medium size. We think Mia will be fine with cats too….she loves every person and dog she has met.
Mia will be ready for meet and greets and going home before Valentine’s day!
