Yoshi
Requirements:
-
Someone around more often than not (he's too young to be stuck inside alone 8 hours a day)
-
Fenced area to play in (doesn't have to be a yard, if it's a condo building with a dog park, that would work too)
Hello friends! My name is Yoshi, and when I’m not helping Mario save the princess or driving a go-kart on Rainbow Road, I’m playing with toys at my foster home. Life has improved a lot for me since Releash sprung me out of that loud shelter, but I’ve been told that it’s time to find the big green pipe that leads to my new forever home, and I’m hoping you can help warp me there.
You probably want to know what breeds I’m mixed with and how big I’m going to get… well, that’s anyone’s guess! I’m around 12 pounds now but I’m only 5 months old and it’s clear I’ve still got some growing to do to fit into these ears and paws. My friends at Releash think I’ll top out around 20 pounds but their crystal ball has been wrong before, so don’t hold them to it!
You can tell by the way I hop and scamper around after toys and other dogs and friendly humans that I am one happy puppy! The humans I’ve been living with are great, they’ve taught me to appreciate the finer things in life, such as treats and toys and couches and beds and walks around the neighborhood.
I hear that I’m well on my way to being “housebroken” (whatever that means), but I’ll need a patient human or humans to keep working with me. I’m smart, though, so it shouldn’t take long for me to be the perfect roommate! I’m already good in a crate and will sleep quietly in there all night or when I’m left alone for short periods of time.
I’d love to have another playful dog in my forever home, but as long as there are playful humans around, it’s not a requirement. I LOVE DOING ZOOMIES IN THE GRASS, so I’m hoping to have access to a yard in my new home too! Kids are cool, but due to my razor-sharp puppy teeth and lack of self-awareness, any kids I live with must be gentle and dog-savvy.
