My name and is Rain and my story up until now hasn’t been the best one. I was born to a breeder (I’m told I’m a sheepadoodle) who taught me commands and must have spent time with me, but for some reason decided she didn’t want to keep me anymore. She rehomed me to an older lady who ended up not being able to care for me. She let my beautiful coat get matted and nasty. She finally asked for help and a wonderful lady came to meet us one day and knew she couldn’t leave us there. She took us home with her and cleaned us up the best she could and reached out to the folks at Releash Atlanta to see if they could help me. So here I am!
I’ve been spayed, fully vetted and groomed, had my skin infection treated, and I’m ready to find my forever home! Foster mom has told me I’m the best girl- I ride well in a car, I’m friendly, crate trained, and 99% house broken.
I LOVE people! My dream home would be one where people love to cuddle with me, take me on walks and play ball with me! I especially love the 7 year old human in my foster home, he’s my favorite. I sleep with him every night. I’m very affectionate so whoever adopts me needs to be ready for all 55 lbs of me to be beside them and/or in their lap on their couch or bed.
I can be vocal when left alone, so homes with shared walls won’t be the best fit. Because I am still young I would love a fenced in yard to run around in with you! My biggest preference though is no other dogs. I dont like sharing my humans so I want to be your only pet. I promise, I will make you feel so loved!
