Sally
Sally is ready to find her family! This 5 month old, 30 pound sweet girl was pulled off a shelter euthanasia list and we have enjoyed watching her grow as the happy and friendly puppy she is!
Having never met a stranger both two-legged or four-legged, this Labrador mix gets along great with the teens and other foster dogs in her foster home. Her energy is what you would expect from a lab puppy - ready for a long walk, a game of tug of war, food motivated to learn, or to lay beside you for a belly rub.
Sally is crate trained and does extremely well with regular trips outside for bathroom breaks. Being that she is still a puppy, we will require someone home with her to continue that training schedule as well. Sally also walks very well on a leash and will sit at the door at the sight of her leash, in anticipation of a trip throughout the neighborhood.
Currently, Sally is in a home with a fenced yard and she enjoys being able to explore the yard while playing with the other dogs in her home and burning up some of her puppy energy. While a fenced yard isn’t required, potential adopters will need to understand that with most young dogs, an outlet for her puppy energy will need to be provided with a fenced yard or frequent walks on a leash.
Lastly, Sally was going to try-out to be an airline marshall - directing planes at the gate at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Sadly, she was turned down since her ears had planes only making left turns….and that’s okay, because we love this goofy girl all the same!
