Hi! My name is Sadie. My foster mom says I am the sweetest girl ever with the sweetest face! They think I’m around 2 years old and 40-50 lbs so I have lots of love to give to my forever family. I’m shy and timid around new people but once I can trust you, I’m nothing but love! I just love to snuggle and be super close to my favorite humans.

While I may be shy and timid around new people, I LOVE dogs! I just love to run around in the backyard and play with the other dogs in my foster home. I’ve got a funny personality and make my foster mom laugh every day. My foster mom also tells me that I’m really curious! So while I may not jump on you in excitement like other pups, I’m going to be really interested and stay in the room with you, checking things out, when we first meet. Also, I love food and treats —it’s the way to my heart! So if there are treats around then I’m definitely going to be in the room and coming up to you for those delicious bits of love!

Though my anxious energy causes me to be a bit of a chewer, I’m crate and house trained so it usually isn’t much of an issue for my foster mom. She just gives me bully sticks and takes me for walks to help and it does! I’m also learning basic obedience and would love to continue this training with my forever family. My foster mom thinks it would be a great way to build my relationship with my new human(s). See —I just lack a little bit of confidence but the more I learn, the more my confidence grows! My foster mom says I’m really smart and a really quick learner. She tells me she’s proud of me every day.

I would best be in a stable home that allows me the space and time to build a relationship and trust with my forever family. My crate is my safe space and I would love to be with a family that will continue crating me when they aren’t at home. And if you have another playful dog then that would just be extra icing on the cake!
