Meet Percy, a spunky little chi terrier mix baby with an insatiable drive for adventure and exploration, and a snuggly side too! He is barely 6 pounds at an estimated 10 weeks of age and anticipated to stay under 20 pounds fully grown.

From his foster Mom: “Percy is the most charming little puppy, he is all knees and elbows. We have had a variety of foster puppies of all ages and sizes and It is hard for me to remember one ever who was as endearing and adorable as little Percy is. He is feisty, and playful, and can entertain himself forever with a rope toy or a chew bone, but he also is in the running for the world’s best snuggler, as he nestles himself in between me and the couch cushions. He is respectful of his four-pawed foster brothers and sisters, and he engages them and correctly reads corrections from them when they don’t feel like playing. (They are all old folks). I’ve actually caught a couple of them allowing him to snuggle next to them, something I’ve never seen them do before! He’s awesome with kids, and anticipate would be fine with cats if introduced properly. He is mouthy, and we are working on correcting that behavior but it will need ongoing reinforcing through his puppy phase. He loves chew toys, Kong toys, and rope toys. He is working on potty training. He will need to have someone that can take him out very frequently until they learn his cues. And yes, he is crate trained. He runs to his crate when he sees his food dish coming out and he sleeps beautifully and without accidents for nearly 8 hours in a plastic travel crate in our bedroom every night.
